چکیده

We investigated the growth-promoting mechanism of salt-tolerant plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (ST-PGPR) in wheat under sodium chloride (NaCl) stress by measuring and physiological biochemical responses plants inoculated with ST-PGPR 0–400 mM NaCl. The results showed that plays a significant role NaCl stress. Under 300 NaCl, three strains increased height, root length, dry weight, fresh weight 71.21%, 89.19%, 140.94%, 36.31%, respectively, compared to control group. proline soluble sugar contents Bacillus thuringiensis 38.8% 21.4%, respectively. average content antioxidant enzymes 13.89%, control, species ST-PGPR, ethylene decreased 2.16-fold. In addition, mathematical model based on “interaction equation” revealed best mixed inoculation were due complementary strengths strains. analysis experimental phenomena data mechanisms which Brevibacterium frigoritolerans, thuringiensis, velezensis alleviate wheat: (1) lowering osmotic stress, oxidative (2) using secretions provide substances needed for wheat. This study provides new approach comprehensive understanding evaluation as biological inoculant crops salt

Seed Priming With Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria Alleviate Salinity Stress In Wheat Plant

The objective of this paper was to study the effects of two strains of isolated plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on physiological and biochemical changes of wheat leaves under salinity conditions. The sterilized seeds were soaked in distilled water (control) and Nutrient Broth liquid medium of Enterobacter cloacae and Bacillus cereus (inoculated treatment) for 2 hours. After 10 days ...

Plant Growth-promoting Rhizobacteria Mitigate Deleterious Effects of Salt Stress on Strawberry Plants (Fragaria 3ananassa)

The effect of selected plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on the growth, chlorophyll content, nutrient element content, and yield of strawberry plants under natural field salinity conditions stress was investigated. Field experiments were conducted using a randomized complete block design with five PGPRs (Bacillus subtilis EY2, Bacillus atrophaeus EY6, Bacillus spharicus GC subgroup B ...

Alleviation of salt stress by halotolerant and halophilic plant growth-promoting bacteria in wheat (Triticum aestivum)

In the current study, 18 halotolerant and halophilic bacteria have been investigated for their plant growth promoting abilities in vitro and in a hydroponic culture. The bacterial strains have been investigated for ammonia, indole-3-acetic acid and 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate-deaminase production, phosphate solubilisation and nitrogen fixation activities. Of the tested bacteria, eight wer...

Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria Dietzia natronolimnaea modulates the expression of stress responsive genes providing protection of wheat from salinity stress

Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) hold promising future for sustainable agriculture. Here, we demonstrate a carotenoid producing halotolerant PGPR Dietzia natronolimnaea STR1 protecting wheat plants from salt stress by modulating the transcriptional machinery responsible for salinity tolerance in plants. The expression studies confirmed the involvement of ABA-signalling cascade, as Ta...
